What is HCG peptide used for?

Human chorionic gonadotropin (HCG) is a glycoprotein secreted by trophoblast cells of the placenta and is composed of glycoproteins of alpha and beta dimers. Human chorionic gonadotropin (HCG) αβ is synthesized by syncytiotrophoblasts.

As we all know, HCG is a protein-based hormone produced during pregnancy that tells a woman's body that it's pregnant. But now there is HCG peptide, which used for both women and men by injection.

The primary function for HCG is to support the pregnancy by encouraging the production of progesterone. HCG is used to cause ovulation and to treat infertility in women, and to increase sperm count in men.

HCG injection is also approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration(FDA) to treat specific medical conditions in both women and men. In men, hCG injections are used for a type of hypogonadism in which the body doesn’t adequately stimulate the gonads to produce the sex hormone testosterone. Bodybuilders who take anabolic steroids such as testosterone also sometimes use hCG to prevent or reverse some of the side effects cause by steroids, such as gonad shrinkage and infertility.

So, it can be used for both men and women who want to have baby and support the pregnancy, also used for bodybuilders. There is HCG 2000iu and HCG 5000iu 2 type, need to take proper dosage according to doctor's prescription.
